He received his undergraduate degree in Biological Sciences from California State University Stanislaus and completed his Doctor of Optometry at Southern California College of Optometry. Dr. Vähämäki is a U.S. Navy veteran who has proudly served and deployed worldwide. He currently practices at Seashore Eyecare in Exmore, Virginia. Dr. Ian Uber is a skilled eye physician and surgeon from Western Pennsylvania. After graduating with merit from the United States Naval Academy, Dr. Uber earned his medical degree from the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences. He completed a transitional year internship at Naval Medical Center, San Diego, and then went to flight school at Naval Air Station, Pensacola. He then served as a flight surgeon for Marine Attack Squadron 542 and Marine Attack Training Squadron 203 at Marine Corps Air Station, Cherry Point, NC. Alfred Wolanin, MD
Alfred Wolanin, MD is a comprehensive ophthalmologist. He completed his undergraduate education at Villanova University and following college he served as a Marine Officer completing two combat deployments to Iraq. He left active duty to pursue the medical field and graduated from Drexel University College of Medicine. Following medical school, Dr. Wolanin completed his internship at the National Naval Medical Center in Bethesda, MD. He went on to study flight medicine and served in that capacity at the United States Naval Academy for two years.
